Inauguration of new lab and office building for Institute of Soil Health Management and the Institute of Rice Research, ARI, Rajendranagar on 19.07.2022 by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor
- Inauguration of the Dr. M. S. Swaminathan Annex consisting of two premier institutes of PJTSAU i.e. Institute of Soil Health Management and the Institute of Rice Research with the new lab and office building on July 19, 2022, by Honorable Vice-Chancellor. The inauguration ceremony with presence of the Director of Research, University Officers, Associate Director of Research (RARS, Palem) and faculty and students. This infrastructure facility was funded by RKVY, Govt. of India.
- Dr. Surendra Babu, Principal Scientist and Head for Institute of Soil Health Management, and Dr. Raghu Rami Reddy, Principal Scientist and Head for Institute of Rice Research, participated with staff to show their appreciation to the Honorable Vice-Chancellor for inspiring us with new infrastructure to conduct the research in an innovative manner by utilizing the new technologies.
- As suggested by the honorable Vice Chancellor, research should incorporate innovations, and labs should be staffed around-the-clock. Additionally, students should have the drive to perform innovative research, and by the time they graduate, they should have a great judgement of what students choose to do in their higher education.
